Marnie Shure is a recent graduate living in Chicago, Illinois and pursuing a position in the publishing industry. Former Editor in Chief of two literary magazines, she has been called “Boss” by her classmates; “hard core”/”no nonsense” by multiple college professors; and “The Shure Thing” by many a would-be comedian. She intends to move to New York City, whereupon DBC|READS may have to be renamed. Marnie has a pug named Fiona. Follow her on Twitter @BeShureToRead.
Kevin Morris is a recent graduate living in Somerville, Massachusetts, a longtime port of call. He works as a proofreader/assistant manager at a small agency in Boston. He studied Mandate-era Palestine in college. His favorite writers include David Foster Wallace, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, George Saunders, Joshua Ferris, and Raymond Carver. He too is a little skeeved out that there are no women on that list. Blame college literature courses. And consider it a yet thing. Follow him on Twitter @kw_morris.
